I’m just a Regular Joe who managed to lose 40 pounds by making small changes to my lifestyle and diet. Truth be told, I never felt hungry or felt like I was staying away from any of the foods, drinks, and snacks I love. I decided to share my own personal lazy man’s diet guide with the world on this website.

I’m a teacher at a local high school, and initially I decided to lose weight thanks to a co-worker of mine’s own attempt to drop pounds. When he struggled with diet plan after diet plan, the simple steps I took meant that my weight melted away in no time at all. He still refuses to believe that all I did was make a few basic changes and that I’ve managed to keep the weight off.

I’ll include lots of links to help guide people to scientific research that supports my idiot’s guide to weight loss, links to recipes, stories of other dieters, and some sites I found useful in my own attempt to drop to a healthy weight. I promise if you follow the simple suggestions on this site, you can lose several pants sizes in less than a year.
